
China & New Zealand Cultural Arts Association is subordinate to New Zealand Wanfang Group. It is committed to develop and promote exchange and cooperation in terms of art, culture, education, business and other aspects between China and New Zealand, and provide related consulting and derived services for cultural and artistic exchange between the two countries.
Depending on profound cultural, artistic, academic, political and business resources in New Zealand and China, China & New Zealand Cultural Arts Association promotes the spread and promotion of Chinese traditional culture and art in New Zealand through various forms including exhibition, displaying, meeting, lecture and performance. Since its establishment, China & New Zealand Cultural Arts Association has held a variety of theatrical performances and lectures on culture. They include: concerts of Tsai Chin, Zhang Ye, Lv Siqing; the lecture of national science and culture of Yu Dan; cross-talk show performance of Miao Fu and Wang Sheng from Qingqu club; drama performance of Pu Cunxin; the concert of Eason Chan; the cheongsam fashion show of Chinese supermodels; the Star-shine in the Summer Evening of Dance and so on. The culture and art circles of the two countries actively participate in and widely praise a series of exchange activities. Now, based on Auckland Metropolis Events Centre to display the cultural and artistic exchange program, China & New Zealand Cultural Arts Association provides a professional audio-visual feast for the cultural and artistic exchange activity between the two countries through international top facilities.

Auckland Metropolis Events Centre belongs to the own property of China & New Zealand Cultural Arts Association. It is located in the center of Auckland City and constructed in the classical style by English-born architect Charles Towle in 1933. This building is a grand structure complete with Graeco-Roman pillared columns that frame its large entrance, gives it a unique profile and high visibility. The building was fully restored in 2015 with event-use in mind.
The venue covers a theater hall (350 people at most can be accommodated at one time), where stages and professional lighting and audio facilities can be arranged and equipped at will, a large foyer, dressing rooms, utility rooms, platforms, chairs and tables, the network, a basement garage and other facilities. It is an ideal events venues for exhibitions, cultural performances and conferences.
By organizing all kinds of culture and art exhibition events, Auckland Metropolis Events Centre cooperates with the local mainstream society and constructs a cultural and creative platform, continues to promote the development of local art, and is committed to become a “service-oriented centre”.
